I am sorry to hear about what happened between you and your parents. I know some people who have the same attitude towards LGBT, and I've given up trying to reason with them, it's pointless. Happy to know your sis, aunt and uncle accepted you for what you are, and you did the right thing in coming out. To hell with what others think, as if it's any of their business anyway.

Yeah. They are not worth wasting your time on 'cause they are full of hate and are never going to change no matter what you say to them but the good thing is they are finding out they are in the minority now 'cause there are a lot of people who do support us and don't share their backwards views as they found out here with the results of the Postal Plebiscite for Same Sex Marriages here last year and I only surround myself with people who I love and care about now and don't bother with them. A number of them spend so much time whinging about us on the internet they waste their own lives away.
