Kolchak: The Night Stalker (tv series)

I'll have to go against the consensus here and rate "They Have Been, They Are, They Will Be..." as much higher. I would call it about 7 or 8. It's the one episode that is really a precursor of the later X-files type of plot. Of the series, it's the most unusual or unique entry.
