Same God old&new testament, christian and jewish God. old was law fulfilled perfectly in the messiah prophesied in Isaiah, etc throughout the OT. Jesus fulfilled all prophecy and became the Lamb of God sacrificed for all the sins of man. OT&Nt Fathers Word was Jesus become flesh. through Him all things in heaven and earth were created. In Him we live and move and have our being. Body, soul and spirit. Matter, force and life. We are made in His image created when God breathed life into the dust. All things are held together in Him. When He returns the heavens and the earth flee away from Him. All who have ever lived stand before the throne of God. Christ is the new covenant established in fulfillment of prophecy by the messiah. After He had provided the one time perfect sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus the Son,the Word of God in the flesh, risen from the dead to reign eternally. He established the new covenant in Himself. The third part of the Godhead is the Holy Spirit who guided the writers of scripture, breathed His truth into God's Word perfectly. one of the passages in Jn4 refers to Jesus talking to a woman who was not a jew, telling her about the gospel being brought to the gentiles. True worship in spirit and truth. She had heard of the messiah. Jesus said "I who speak to you am He". Jesus had not yet ascended back into heaven in the second, Jn20. Still in His resurrected body, not yet completely glorified form, He spoke of God the Father in His Majesty. To Him He gave honor and glory and humbled Himself as a man until He fulfilled all the purposes the Father had intended for Him in His earthly ministry. Then He ascended to God the Father to reign eternally.
