The report states it will be the classic version Barbara Ann Minerva. Since her transformation originally took place in Africa, I do think this is a golden opportunity to introduce Vixen as Diana's ally same as Falcon to Captain America. Like Cheetah is collecting sacrifices to her god Urzkartaga to sustain her appearance, so Vixen needs Wonder Woman's help to rectify the situation. A serial killer plotline crossed with safari themed pulp mumbo-jumbo would be interesting.
