Linda Ronstadt: 'I don’t like any of my albums'

For some bizarre reason, a lot of people feel they need to follow suit with an artist's opinion of their own work, especially when the opinion is negative.  I run into this frequently as someone with unusual tastes.  Folks will say, "You love that album!?!? The artist doesn't even like it!" As if that should have some bearing on my own opinion.

So maybe people who tend to feel that way are feeling like it's undermining their love of her work.
