I hope they go back to them being unrelated - it was a nonsense twist Carpenter came up with in a drunken stupor - but I'm skeptical they'll have the balls since it's now such an integral part of the series. Even the remake, which had a completely clean slate, brought it back. Eh, I don't mind that they're related, but then I'm not the biggest fan of the franchise, so maybe there's a downside I'm not seeing. |
