It just appeals to me more to have different countries have a chance to host the World Cup. It makes the whole thing more unique. Soccer is a global sport and there are many, many nations who've waited a long time for their chance to host this thing. In this proposed US/Canada/Mexico Cup, the US would host the vast majority of games anyway. What's the point? The US held the tournament in 1994, there are so many other options to explore in the spirit of diversity, a celebration of soccer's global appeal. If we're talking about how the US has the best capabilities to host, well shit, why don't we just give it to them every single time? The World Cup isn't about that. North America wants to throw any & all money available at FIFA for this thing, & they're gonna turn around & say no? lols Unbelievable. IOC be like wtf are they smoking?
