Carrie (1976) is bloody great! 
Sissy Spacek is fearless as Carrie, and Piper Laurie is one mother of a nightmare mama! Why they felt the need to remake this twice more is beyond my understanding, they got it so right the first time. One of De Palma's and King's greatest movies.
Angela Bettis as Carrie (2002) did a fine job in the role, but just like The Shining, no one was exactly screaming for a TV remake.
Chloë Grace Moretz as Carrie (2013) just seemed to pretty and not awkward enough to be believable like the two previous Carries. Moretz has really made a career out of appearing in horror remakes like The Amityville Horror (2005), The Eye (2008), Let Me In (2010), Dark Shadows (2012) and the upcoming Suspiria (2018). Huge snaps up to this remake though, for casting my favorite actress, Julianne Moore, as the mad mama!
