Exactly. It was goofy AF, sure, but at that point who was still even taking the movie seriously? I was just like, "oh, shit, that's right. I guess I never realized that. Hunh. Wait, why aren't they fighting anymore?" Like it was as dumb a reason to stop fighting as any of the reasons the film gives for them to start. So... it felt like it "fit."

But I also didn't mind the movie anywhere near as much as most people. So.
