I saw it for the first time a couple of years back. I was pleasantly surprised by how stylised it was, I believe, owing to director Thorold Dickinson having an interesting background that allowed him to absorb different techniques being pioneered in different parts of Europe. He also had innovative cinematographer Otto Heller manning the camera. Great movie.
