It's definitely one of the first horror movies that made an impression on me, staying up to watch it on late night tv, totally hooked from the first to last second. And the book was a major event in my horror literature life. Never read the original novel (then again maybe it's that I'm not much of a book reader). It's a very short novel. If you fancy a horror read, check it out; you might find it's so compulsive you can't put it down. I did. |
