Ugh... flipping between so many live sports yesterday (LFC, TFC, The Brier...) I kept my eye on a History channel marathon of 'Cars That Made America'. Basically the 20th century of Ford-GM-Chrysler pushing one another, & subsequently society as we know it.
Alas, it was a lot less celebrating & nothing much more than Company A succeeds with X, Companies B & C get angry/buy guns/call the mafia/blame the public/fire everyone again... & repeat through the decades interchanging the Big 3 car companies & their retaliations. F'n hours of bs hot air & faux drama to paint the auto industry like it was WWIII. Got tiring & I must say depressing pretty quickly. I kept tuning in to see how the show would handle benchmark events like Model-T's retirement, WWII manufacturing, unions, & Japanese influx.
