Some of my favorites: What About Bob? Murray and Dreyfuss did not get along. See also the productions of Scrooged, Groundhog Day, and Charlie's Angels for other examples of tension on the set. I have heard that he and Chevy Chase so disliked each other that they came to blows, or at least had a physical altercation behind the scenes of SNL. So strangely enough, per the doc Caddyshack: The Inside Story, the producers/writers realized that the two had no scenes together so they wrote one on the spot. The scene of Ty discovering Carl Spackler's living quarters, lots of improvisation..and they were very professional and civil to each other and had no problems, though they of course didn't socialize with each other.
