No, it's not idiocy. It was explained that Anakin is so powerful because he has the highest midi chlorians level ever measured. It's no different than Stan Lee saying mutants got their power because of an X-gene or Peter Parker got his powers because he was bitten by a radioactive spider or Hulk got his powers because of gamma radiation. It's a sufficient explanation.
Jor-El was a middle-aged man who had worked as a scientist for his whole adult life so it's natural that he's 1 of the top scientists on his planet. T'Challa's sister is a teenager who had never traveled beyond her country's borders and it's also well-established that Wakandan people (including T'Challa himself, who is too dumb to even request that Killmonger be given a DNA test to prove his claim of being royal blood) are generally the among the dumbest people on Earth. So there isn't any sufficient nor plausible explanation for how T'Challa's sister became an Einstein-level genius.
