She comes from a super-advanced civilization with stuff way beyond us and She's a Princess. It's easy to extrapolate that she got a superior education there and their own scientists are just that good. You might as well ask how the Ravagers in GOTG got their ships when they all seem to be a bunch of thugs. You might as well ask how Magneto learned how to make a machine that would turn Humans into Mutants. Ravagers are shown to be skilled thiefs so thats not extraordinary. Magneto in X1 is very old and can assume he has experience to create that machine. Theres also a line where he says he help Xavier build Cerebro. Nothing extraordinary. Shuri is 15yo African kid whose never been abroad and is shown to be adept at advanced science. That is extraordinary. Hello. I've only seen Black Panther twice but wasn't it only implied that Shuri hadn't been abroad? Surely you seem to be able to believe that information due to the implication, so why can't you believe she's a genius when that's not only implied, but directly shown? I mean I do get where you're coming from, I just don't think it's a huge leap to use your imagination a bit. Surely we can use our intelligence to make some general assumptions about where her intellect comes from. You also mentioned Hank McCoy in First Class.. but wasn't that the second film he appeared in? He was in Last Stand as well right? Did they mention anything about how he obtained his intellect in that film? Maybe the line you seek will appear in Infinity War or Black Panther 2. Would that be satisfying enough? Honestly, I just don't see how showing everything that she can accomplish in the film isn't a better indicator of her intelligence than "Hey Shuri, how was Wakanda University?"
