I did like Blade Runner (1982) years ago but it was on a re-watch on June 6th 2017 that I could not finish it due to boredom and turned it off @ 50min.
as for when I first seen Blade Runner (1982)... I don't know exactly but I would guess likely sometime 2003+ (since that was basically the year the general volume of movies I viewed started to shoot up) which means I would have had to have been at least 23-24+ years old. either way, I know I still liked Blade Runner (1982) at some point after 2003 but prior to that June 6th 2017 re-watch it was sometime before Dec 27th 2011 the last time I re-watched it (since I been logging ALL movies I see since Dec 27th 2011). so even though both are a Thumbs Down... I can at least say that visually they are better than average but the movies just don't work for me overall.
as for whether I like Sci-Fi... Yes. there are some movies in this genre within my Top 26 movies, which are... The Terminator (1984)/Source Code (2011) and some within my Top 56 movies, which are... Moon (2009)/Terminator 3 (2003)/S1m0ne (2002)/Gattaca (1997). etc.
as for which I have seen first, given the above info you can tell it's... Blade Runner (1982).
p.s. ill be 39 years old later this year.
out of curiosity - which one did you see first and how old were you when you did? and do you like sci-fi?
