Great film, thanks for the post. One of my favorite Merchant-Ivory films but I have to admit I prefer Remains of the Day just a tad... An interesting sidenote is that Bonham Carter's great grandfather was H.H. Asquith, Prime Minister at the outbreak of WW1. That's interesting. Her cousin Jane Bonham Carter, Baroness of Yarnbury, is a Liberal Democrat politician who's currently sitting in the House Of Lords. |
