Given that A Wrinkle in Time hasn’t been well received, shouldn’t that put an end to this idea that critics will like anything solely on the grounds of if it empowers women or non-whites? It was overrated because of feminism. It wouldn't have been afforded the luxury of being overrated if it had stunk the house out.  |
