You have zero evidence to suggest that it is in anyway “the truth”. Just stop. You’re not doing anyone any favors by claiming that people only liked a movie because an actor died. The only one who’s appearing disrespectful is you. Heath Ledger has been dead for 10 years. If people only went easy on the movie out of pity, it would not still be remembered as a great film today. Now it has nostalgia on its side and fanatical Nolanites who won't let it be anything but worshiped. Otherwise we'd have people who'd openly admit the whole "Die a Hero, or become a villain" philosophy is full of holes instead of acting like its an absolute. Nostalgia? That’s your new excuse? This is ridiculous. Was there nostalgia for the movie back in 2010 when Heath Ledger’s death had already been old news? Also, who cares what DC-Fan thinks? TDK has nothing to do with anything.
