If 7 had read "I have no problems with religions if religions are not forced on me or others", I could have gone with that. I agree with this wholeheartedly. I live in the UK where basically people are embarrassed to be religious and the law generally does a good job of keep religions under control. And I'm a straight, white male. So being an atheist is pretty easy here. There are some things I like to change here (e.g. state funding for faith schools, the clergy in the House of Lords), but I'm fairly certain that when I go for an interview I'd be more likely to get discriminated against for saying an evangelical Christian than for saying I'm an atheist (not that they're allowed to ask that anyway). But religion does continue to harm others domestically and abroad. Once it can stop doing that then I'll be fine with it. But until then I'll fight against this malevolent force in the world...
