The DCEU. I thought that was quite clear in each of my posts on this topic. I mean, how the hell could you have missed that? You're not exactly instilling a lot of confidence in a round five. I don’t really see how that changes anything. If anything, that’s even more ridiculous of a notion than this idea that critics would take pity on a single movie. The ridiculous notion that critics would take pity on a single movie was all yours, chum. I even provided an example of when pity results in disproportionate adulation. Do I have to repeat it again, or can you find your way back to my previous post? The DCEU fell flat on its face with BvS and SS. It wasn’t apparent that this was going to be the norm until Justice League came out. When WW was released there was still some sympathy for the fledgling DCEU and the difficulties it was having. Just read the reviews. Today, the general consensus is that DC simply doesn't give a shit, so pity boosters will be in short supply for any future DC movies.
