France - The summer of 2008. My last holiday with my family.
It was quite enjoyable, I watched The Perfect Storm for the first time on DVD in our holiday cabin. Went round some castles/beaches etc... I distinctly remember seeing loads of war memorials, I guess it's still a big part of European culture...
This was in total contrast to my previous visit to France in 04, that was a total disaster...
