....If the above image from Forbes has an estimated Worldwide gross of $635 million (235 domestic and 400 international) and then it went on to gross $657 million....then yes it did better than they expected.
Most people's expectations of how a movie is going to perform are stated before it's opening night. I guess you are just different, huh?
