Yes, "gay" just refers to a particular subculture of homosexuals. Not all homosexuals are "gay". Take a guy in prison for example who takes on a male lover. I'm sure he won't be listening to Lady Gaga anytime soon.

Actually, homosexual is just a sex act. It shouldn't be an identity.
