Well man, it was made for kids, in spite of all the violence. The anti imperialist aggression and anti war subtext in the backdrop of Nam was pretty obvious. SLJ also displays hostility to the journo played by Larson, who serves as the voice of the pacifists and the hippies. ok man, thats interesting. i got the impression that the director wanted to do more with the movie but did not have the freedom. like samuel j saying bitch please to larson. the punk rock and heavy metal soundtrack. it could have been something truly amazing.
