WB has historically always managed to self-destruct every CBM series its' put out one way or another.
The Donner Superman movies? Only the first one was really any good since Superman II had too many characterization flaws, while SMIII and Quest for Peace ended things.
The Batman movies? Good until the Studio intervened and we got Batman and Robin.
The Nolan Movies? Good for their time, but WB messed up the popularity they created with the DCEU.
