I hate to break it to you but they already have a successful franchise. Even though they were critically panned the majority of movies in the DCEU have been box office successes as many journalists have pointed out which is why they keep releasing more movies. A lot of film makers would love to have the Box Office figures the DCEU is getting for its movies and until they have one that majorly underperforms and makes under $100 million worldwide I don't see it ending anytime soon.
