I used to have a "Mickey Mouse" 2 Transistor radio when I was a kid....circa 1963. It was about 4" high, 3" wide and the antenna came out the center of Mickey's head. It was awesome cause at nightime it would pick up a station in Wheeling, West Virginia.......about 700 miles away !!! Which reminds me, Astor got in trouble because they sold a Mickey Mouse themed radio (I think during the 30s or 40s)....without bothering to ask Walt Disney for permission. Oh dear..... I found a photo of that Mickey Mouse 2 transistor radio in Google Images....but I don't have a clue how to copy it into this thread......I tried for about 20 minutes.....then I gave up....  |
