Lilith (1964) is a good one. Really underrated movie too. Oh, yes, an excellent choice. Haven't seen it in a long time, but there were many things about it that I admired. Jean Seberg was outstanding, I thought, and I loved the way Beatty the therapist was drawn into her madness. There were also some exceptional cinematic elements in it, particularly long dissolves that at times became almost superimpositions. And if memory serves, this is the film where Beatty met Hackman and later helped Arthur Penn cast him in Bonnie and Clyde. I'd really like to see this one again. Peter Fonda was good too, as I recall. Your memory serves you well!
