No, it's pretty astute. DC always self-destructs anything they make, always.
But yes, DC have invented the modern blockbuster CBM (with Superman, then Batman)
And ultimately destroyed both series.
The films that push were
Iron Man, Avengers, Black Panther, etc. Logan wouldn't be much if it weren't Jackmans' last time in the saddle, Dark Knight needed a dead actor, and Donner's film was only good due to no competition.
