The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, when the nazi general realizes they put his son in the oven by mistake. I'll be honest, that movie f!@#$d me up for days. Very powerful. Rocky, when he proposes to Adrienne at the zoo Oh, Lord, I haven't seen The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and now I don't know if I can. The older I get the harder it is to see the world's horrors on film. I've heard wonderful things about that film, however, so I know it must have done its job well. As for Rocky, I saw it so long ago, and I don't remember that scene very well. But I'm glad to know it meant so much to you. I'm actually touched by all the responses to this thread. It's good to be able to see how much films have moved people. I think the capacity for empathy that the best of films elicits brings out the best in everyone. Rocky proposes to Adrian in the second movie.
