Roger Moore for sure. He's the one I grew up with and he is just awesome. He can play funny and brutal superbly. Don't forget him kicking the car of the bad guy agent in For Your Eyes Only. That's a powerful film. Only Moore film that is better is the Spy Who Loved Me.
Sean Connery is second for me. A very close second. Thunderball is very impressive although From Russia With Love is up there too.
Timothy Dalton is third. I wish he had been in more films. The Living Daylights is wonderful although I have to admit that License to Kill is much weaker.
George Lazenby and Pierce Brosnan tie it up for me near the bottom end. I like them okay but Lazenby is a little wooden and Brosnan is great but his films are much weaker outside of Goldeneye. It would have been interesting to see Brosnan in the Dalton roles.
Craig brings up the rear but that's just because his films just seem too generic and could almost be a any action hero and not Bond. Maybe even XXX instead of Vin Diesel..
