I trust you've all enjoyed your day of feasting and pagan symbology (the eggs, the chicks, bunnies, lambs, etc) all in honour of the goddess Ēostre - the Goddess of Fertility! I know that we certainly over-indulged ourselves here! That is the true and original meaning of Easter afterall isn't it? It was actually the Festival of Goz this year as Easter fell on my birthday. I had omelettes, scallops, Barramundi, King Prawns and chocolate cake with dark chocolate Malteasers on it and a suitable number of candles, much singing and shenanigans. MOTH is getting me two new laying hens for a gift when the shops open.  Happy Birthday! ....but your birthday is April Fools' Day? That's gotta suck a bit? |
