I took a seminar at the New York historical society about minority comic book characters and the lack thereof. Turns out, when asked, children of pretty much any minority don't want to see a super hero who is also a minority. Oh Good Lord, is this a sign of comic book fans being broken? Black Panther seems to say otherwise, so things seem to be getting better.
