Actually it really shouldn't be that expensive. Out of $682 million estimated costs so,e $600 million went to restore the Batcave and stately Wayne Manor after some devastating attack. That $600 million estimate seems way high to me. I'd guess the total cost to becoming Batman is around $100 million with about $10 million annual maintenance costs.
