I see rape as a physical over-powering of another person, be it male or female, and forcing penetrative sex "onto" or "into" them. It can also include physical violence, of which there is more likely going to be physical evidence if reported within a quick timeframe. If the female is strong enough, she could easily physically overpower another male and I also think while he is the one penetrating, she can by her own means, force the penetration into herself when he may not necessarily want it.
Clint Eastwood made a film with Charlie Sheen called The Rookie-90, where Eastwood's character is tied up and forced into an arousal by a woman, who then in turn forces a penetration into herself, because he has no other means of getting out of it. He wasn't exactly consenting. This is only a movie scenario and could be considered an extreme one, but it is also feasible. Yes, I think a female can rape a male, but as a "perceived" gender role, the male has always been seen as the masculine dominant one or more aggressive to the approach to sex, and therefore it would be a negative stigma to claim a female raped him. It is even more of a stigma for him to claim he was raped by another male, because of the fear of being labelled homosexual.
