Plus, frustrated with Luke? Ren has killed many innocents and is a part of a group that has literally killed planets worth of people. That deserves forgiveness versus a little slack with what Luke thought of doing for a fraction of a second? Sorry, but that’s something the franchise has always struggled with. The bad guys with force powers are always having the good guys beg them to stop with their doing in the same luxury would not be afforded to other members of the Empire or First Order. It’s a writing weakness in the series.
Eh, it's not like the OT didn't do this with Vader. Luke and Leia were fine with him after everything HE did, and his big sacrifice had NOTHING to do with genuine repentance...he just acted to save his son.
