Prevalence and PredictorsThe charge, according to the article, was downgraded to "attempted" rape, but she still continued to have sex with him when he told her to get off him. How is that "attempted", if she continued on? Now, if it was the other way around, and he raped her, would he have gotten a 9 month sentence I wonder, if she told him to get off of her?  Plea deals are a problem all accross the board. Don't know how much input the victim had into it or if the prosecutors think it couldn't have been all that bad. victim plea
