I dont get the feeling hes using Marvel as a generalized word for all Marvel properties, I think He would have said the comic book genre instead or something similar. I think he was alluding to the fact that films like Deadpool and Logan have revitalized the genre in the face of predictable MCU movies that keep the same tone. How does Ragnarok have the same tone as First Avenger? First Avenger was pre disney. Its more a Fox type serious film than a McDisney kiddy one like Ragnarok. |
