Toronto Black Jays was a full non starter for me. I did not pay a cent for any swag, though admittedly there were at the time young millennials who liked wearing black Jays swag in & around the city - I knew a couple at a job I had, & they weren't even baseball fans.
That is not a J, it was never a J for me, & the entire font looks like painted out of a tube of toothpaste. I will admit I was fascinated at the time of them introducing black unis, because it wasn't quite out of style yet + the most recent unis & logos looked like kindergarten:
Needless to say, I & millions others have rewarded the team for the new-retro look which surely should endure several decades.
