People will still be intrigued by Venom. Its going for a horror comedy twist as I understand. Antman just seems like a rehash of the first.
Thing is nobody asked for a Venom movie. Especially a Venom movie distributed by Sony and only Sony. If it was Marvel Studios' Venom, then there might be more hype.
