-Learn the definition of wish fulfillment. -You're failing at reading comprehension. Luke is wish fulfilment, he's some random moisture farmboy who goes on to be an epic hero. Han is some badass scoundrel who gets the main female character.
And go read his treatment he brought up yourself. He wrote Rey as someone who was spinning her wheels doing nothing with her life until Han rescues her and by dumb luck meets Leia who decides to make her a Republic Operative or something.
Oh, and still no explanation of how the OT cast couldn't stop the First Order on their own without needing help, despite them taking down the Empire a generation before.
-His journey does have some wish fulfillment, but it's not at the expense of suspension of disbelief in the universe they've created. You must not have watched the same Han that everyone else did.
