McCann first got noticed as the institutionalized friend of Alan Arkin in the 1968 film “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter,” but really became popular with a hilarious Right Guard commercial in 1971 with commercial stalwart Bill Fiore. His career launched from there. It is good that we can celebrate his life and work. I'm equally saddened to say that Bill Fiore died in 2014. |
