You know, I never really thought about this before but what happens if the show ends with Supergirl killing Reign knowing she is Sam and she has to live with knowing she killed one of her best friends and there was nothing else she could to do stop her. That could really change the course of the show moving forward and take Kara on a much darker path that is similar to the comic books. In the comic books one of the main differences between Superman and Superman is Supergirl (both Kara and Linda) have killed villains and Supergirl killing villains wouldn't be new but with this version of the character it would be interesting to see how she would deal with having blood on her hands. I am not famliar with the Supergirl comics so I don't know if she has faced this situation before. But thinking about it, I can't see Kara killing Sam if she is unaware of what she does as Reign. I have no problems with superheroes killing like Superman and Batman have done in the DCEU. With Reign however it's different because Sam is basically a vessel being used. It will be a brave move on the part of CW if Kara kills Sam because she is technically innocent. That's okay. For one, the 'Supergirl' comic books are very different than the TV show as I mentioned on my previous post above and Kara was a more edgy and aggressive character who was pissed off over her planet being destroyed and wanted to find out who was responsible for it and kill them. Kara was more alien than Clark and less trusting of humans too 'cause she spent most of her life on Krypton and didn't have the years on earth that Clark did. She was not a symbol of hope either like Superman either and the government saw her as a threat 'cause of her anger and her being more powerful than Superman. Those were some of the main things that separated her from Superman and she didn't hold back with her powers and enjoyed fighting villains. The Kara in the comic books would snap Sam's neck without any hesitation if it meant saving millions of lives.
