Well if the Wachowski's and Keanu Reeves (and Carrie-Ann Moss!) want to work together , I would be happy with a continuation of the Matrix ,
because you would probably compare it with Genisys (2015) of the Terminator Franchise which was made specifically
as a Terminator Tribute Movie . It was a fun retro-styled movie made to appeal to the long-term fans !
Why not the same for the Wachowskis and the Matrix Series ?
I think you are putting all the blame for their failures (since The Matrix) on the audience rather than recognizing there might actually be some problems with their work.
