A true cinematic pioneer. His technical ingenuity on productions like 'Royal Wedding' (1951), 'Singin In The Rain' (1952), 'The Pajama Game' (1957) and 'Saturn 3' (1980) helped to reshape the cinematic landscape in the most wonderful ways. Happy birthday to a bona fide legend!!
