My high school was lame because overflow school (between 2 communities) & the ones who did stay were cliquish from an elementary school & never grew out of childish habits.
HS summers working however were lots of fun, Canada's Wonderland we teens ran that asylum. Working 40+ hours a week & no overhead for the age, my summer income lasted me entire school year.
