I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm glad you had a great sister that was your rock. I always wanted a sister but I have to be satisfied with 2 brothers. High school days were crap for me because I had WAY too much heaped on my plate and none of it was good.
Sometimes parents just can't except that their child is gay. From my observations sometime the mother will eventually except it, but the dad won't. It would be horrible for the young adult to be kicked to the curb for something they deem to be unacceptable, but I have seen it happen a number of times. 😞
