I think the restructuring of WB & DC Films is what will help the movies going forward not the removal of Zack Snyder, but I for one would love if the studio would use more of the comic writers even just as an outline group and then a QA for the script, that way they can bare bones a plot and then smooth over any rough spots in another writers story to fit the characters more, especially if they use writers who have had long associations with the characters the film is based on, doubt it will happen though as theres a stupid prejudice against comic writers in Hollywood it seems. Yeah. That is what I want to see. There are so many good writers that work for DC and have worked for the company in the past 20 years that I think could write great movies with these characters like Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Marv Wolfman, Jim Balent, Gail Simone, Tim Seeley, Paul Dini, Peter David, Marguerite Bennett, Jim Lee, Chuck Dixon, Greg Rucka, Steve Orlando, Hope Larson, Joshua Williamson, Sterling Gates, Scott Lobdell, Brenden Fletcher etc and some of them have offered to write movies but Warner Bros has turned them down. Getting the comic book writers involved even if it is only in some advisory type of role would help 'cause these are people that work with these characters all the time and know the ins and outs of them far more than some random Hollywood scriptwriter they get out of nowhere and I am surprised they don't let Geoff write one of the movies since he is the boss of DC and has written a lot of comic books over the year along with episodes of TV shows. Geoff was the one who wrote 'The Legion' and 'JSA' episodes in 'Smallville' and they were some of my favourites in the latter seasons and I think they should give him a chance. He can't do any worse than what they are doing.
