Alice Is a lovely person. Can't speak about that Coren woman though as I don't know her. Only problem with the likes of Alice Roberts and Brian Cox and all these other celebrity scientists, is I die a little bit inside seeing them acting all enthusiastic about something they love, and then seeing people looking up to them like they're demigods. Just reminds me that I've wasted my talent. And now they're on TV flaunting it in my face.  But what can you do? (Other than go back to university, get my PhD then pray I get a job doing something worthwhile). I know quite a few of the TV archaeologists. Alice is one of the genuinely nice ones. Some of the others not so much. |
